Saturday’s early Premier League kickoff sees Tottenham Hotspur host Arsenal in what is usually the most wildly eventful of all of the top flight’s derby clashes. Arsenal have beaten their North London rivals in five of their last seven meetings in all competitions, with a total of 23 goals being scored along the way -- only one of these matches has ended goalless since 1999. So, if you want ridiculous defending and plenty of goalmouth action, make sure you tune in to this one.

North London hostilities will be resumed as Spurs host Arsenal in Saturday’s early kickoff.

Arsenal head in as favourites courtesy of their recent excellent form, which includes an impressive 2-0 win away at reigning champions Manchester City. However, Spurs haven’t looked too shabby either, with Mauricio Pochettino’s side recovering from their alarming early season wobble. They are just a couple of points and a single place below the Gunners in the table, and have reason to believe they’ll be able to get one over on Arsène Wenger for the first time in a couple of years.
Key player - Santi Cazorla (Arsenal)
Attacking midfielder Santi Cazorla sparkled in the Gunners' outstanding win over Manchester City recently, and demonstrated quite why Wenger continues to persist with him. The absence of Alexis Sánchez and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in this match will mean the creative burden will fall even heavier on his shoulders, though recent performances have suggested he has what it takes to lead the Gunners' attack.
Key matchup - Francis Coquelin vs. Christian Eriksen
Arsenal's annual midfield injury crisis has this year afforded a chance for young anchorman Francis Coquelin to shoot to Premier League stardom, and so far, he's taking his chance. The Frenchman was key in their win over City, and now will have to contribute to keeping Spurs' most dangerous creative force, playmaker Christian Eriksen, out of the game.
Tottenham Hotspur injuries and suspensions
Out: None. In doubt: Nabil Bentaleb (fitness following AFCON).
Arsenal injuries and suspensions
Out: Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (groin), Mikel Arteta (ankle), Mathieu Debuchy (shoulder), Abou Diaby (calf), Jack Wilshere (ankle), Alexis Sánchez (hamstring). In doubt: Danny Welbeck (thigh).
Spurs and Arsenal are chalk and cheese on the injury front. While Pochettino has every single member of his first-team squad fighting for a starting spot, Wenger has a characteristically long list of absentees, which includes stars like Oxlade-Chamberlain and Sánchez.
