Everton vs. Liverpool live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch the EPL online

Saturday’s second big Premier League derby is to be found at Goodison Park.

As if the North London derby wasn’t enough, the Premier League have another fierce rivalry on offer on Saturday. The late kickoff sees Everton welcome their Merseyside rivals Liverpool to Goodison Park, as they look to kick-start what has been a pretty underwhelming season. Liverpool’s started badly too, though five wins in their last six league games has seen them move up into a rather more respectable seventh place.

Brendan Rodgers' side certainly head into this game as favourites, as they're a whole five places clear of the Toffees in the table. What's more, they haven't lost a single Merseyside derby since 2010, when goals from Tim Cahill and Mikel Arteta gave David Moyes' Everton a 2-0 win. How times change. Then again, they say form goes out of the window in derby matches, and there's no doubt the Goodison crowd will be up to roaring their team on.

In short, this game will be fast, furious, and shouldn’t be missed.

Key player - Daniel Sturridge (Liverpool)

Liverpool suffered greatly in the extended absence of star striker Daniel Sturridge, though he made only his second appearance since September in their FA Cup win over Bolton Wanderers in midweek, and seems to finally be fit enough to mark his return to first team action. That’s bad news for the Toffees, who will no doubt struggle to keep him out of the game.

Key matchup - Liverpool’s left vs. Séamus Coleman

Last season, when things looked rather more rosy at Goodison Park, Everton right-back Séamus Coleman set about establishing himself as one of the best full-backs in the Premier League. Strong in defence and confident in attack, he was even pretty strongly linked with a move to Manchester United. Fortunately for Everton, that never panned out; unfortunately for Coleman, he's now got to try and contain Liverpool's left side. Up against Philippe Coutinho and wing-back Alberto Moreno, he's going to have his hands full.

Everton injuries and suspensions

Out: Tim Howard (calf), Leon Osman (foot), Steven Pienaar (knee), Christian Atsu (international duty). In doubt: James McCarthy (hamstring).

Liverpool injuries and suspensions

Out: Brad Jones (thigh), Jon Flanagan (knee), Kolo Touré (international duty). In doubt: Lucas Leiva (thigh), Lazar Marković (back).

Both sides have a handful of first-team players unavailable, though none that will cause either manager too much consternation. Everton could have midfielder James McCarthy back from a hamstring injury, while Liverpool are waiting on the fitness of Lucas Leiva and Lazar Marković.
