Schalke 04 need a tremendous performance and a healthy dose of luck if they're to overturn their 2-0 deficit against Real Madrid from the first leg. Here's how the two sides will lineup.

Carlo Ancelotti has switched out both his fullbacks from the first leg victory in Germany. Marcelo and Dani Carvajal get a break as Álvaro Arbeloa and Fábio Coentrão enter the lineup. Sami Khedira also returns from a knee injury to make his first start in several weeks. The return of Khedira should held stabilize a Madrid midfield that has struggled in recent matches.

Schalke's lineup remains heavily influenced by injuries and suspensions. With Kevin-Prince Boateng unavailable, Max Meyer gets a start in the midfield, which might be an improvement for the Germans chances. Roan Neustädter replaces the injured Jan Kirchoff, while Tranquillo Barnetta gets a start in the midfield as well.

Real Madrid (4-3-3): Iker Casillas; Álvaro Arbeloa, Raphaël Varane, Pepe, Fábio Coentrão; Toni Kroos, Sami Khedira, Isco; Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema, Cristiano Ronaldo

Schalke 04 (3-5-2): Timon Wellenreuther; Benedikt Höwedes, Joël Matip, Matija Nastasic; Marco Höger, Roan Neustädter, Christian Fuchs, Tranquillo Barnetta, Max Meyer; Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, Klass-Jan Huntelaar
