Atlético Madrid need at least a goal against Bayer Leverkusen on Tuesday in order to have a chance to continue the Champions League campaign.

Roger Schmidt has made just one change from his lineup that earned a 1-0 victory in the first leg. Kyriakos Papadopoulos has been dropped in favor of Omer Toprak, but otherwise the team looks the same. Schmidt has also decided to stick with striker Josip Drmic over Bayer legend Stefan Kießling.

Atlético Madrd’s lineup looks a bit differently from the first leg, thanks to suspensions and injuries. Defender Diego Godín is suspended and has been replaced by 20-year-old José Giménez. At right back, Guilherme Siqueira’s hamstring keeps him out so Jesus Gamez starts in his place. In the midfield Mario Suárez replaces the suspended Tiago, while Cani gets a surprise start on the wing. Koke also replaces Gabi.

Bayer (4-2-3-1): Bernd Leno; Roberto Hilbert, Omer Toprak, Emir Spahić, Wendell; Gonzalo Castro, Lars Bender; Karim Bellarabi, Hakan Calhanoglu, Heung-Min Son; Josip Drmic

Atléti (4-4-2): Miguel Ángel Moyà; Juanfran, José Giménez, João Miranda, Jesus Gamez; Arda Turan, Mario Suárez, Koke, Cani; Antoine Griezmann, Mario Mandzukic
