El Clâsico. It’s hard to find a bigger, more anticipated matchup in the sport of soccer than when Barcelona and Real Madrid meet. When the two sides are locked in a battle for the league title, as they are again this season, it just adds to the overall emotions of the day.

Madrid will enter the Camp Nou on Sunday just a single point behind their ancient rivals for the top spot in La Liga. Carlo Ancelotti’s side had held that spot for the better part of the last few months, but a recent slip in form allowed Barca to move past them a couple weeks ago. Now comes a vital, but not decisive, test between the two sides. A win would move Barca four points clear, while Madrid could reclaim the top spot with a win. More important that points though could be the momentum that either side could claim from a win in this match.

Which side handles the pressure better will have an edge. Whatever team is able to dictate play to their advantage will have a big edge. Ultimately though, it could be the side that avoids the costly mistake that wins the day.

Barca's only major injury concern in Sergio Busquets, who is expected to make his return after missing the last three weeks with an ankle injury. He's likely to play, but if he's unable to go, Javier Mascherano will take his play in the midfield, leving Luis Enrique to decide between Marc Bartra and Jeremy Mathieu to partner with Gerard Piqué.

James Rodriguez is back training for Madrid, but his his fitness levels will likely preclude him from starting. He might make the bench, but it’s unlikely he’ll be forced back into action in such an important game.
