Fresh off a win over Ecuador in their first match of this international break, Mexico takes on a seemingly less impressive opponent in Paraguay on Tuesday. Paraguay failed to qualify for the last World Cup, and they’ll be looking to redeem themselves at the upcoming Copa America.

El Tri looks to go two-for-two during this international break.

El Tri didn’t create much against Ecuador, but held their lead comfortably after a brilliant goal by Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez. It’s been a tough season at Real Madrid for Chicharito, but Miguel Herrera will be thrilled to see that he’s not completely out of form.
Jonathan dos Santos and Jesus "Tecatito" Corona sat out the last game with minor injuries, and could return for this game. Giovani dos Santos started ahead of Raul Jimenez, while Diego Reyes played sweeper instead of Julio Dominguez, and Herrera could opt to rotate in those spots as well to give his second options some opportunities to shine. Jürgen Damm and Eduardo Herrera were handed their debuts against Ecuador, while Jesús Dueñas is still waiting for his, and will be hoping to make his first appearance in a Mexico shirt.
Paraguay's veterans have struggled lately, and they have a lot of exciting youngsters in the pipeline, but manager Ramón Díaz has opted to make one last push with his veterans. Don't expect to see more than one or two cameos for players under the age of 26.
