The lineups are out for today's Champions League quarterfinal first leg at the Juventus Stadium in Turin. The eponymous hosts have lined up as expected, with coach Massimiliano Allegri opting for a back four instead of a defensive trio. Roberto Pereyra plays in support of strikers Carlo Tevez and Álvaro Morata, while midfield playmaker Andrea Pirlo is flanked by Claudio Marchisio and Arturo Vidal.
No surprises in Juventus lineup while Monaco go defensive
Juve will have to watch Monaco’s pace on the counter-attack.

Monaco coach Leonardo Jardim has raised a few eyebrows with his selection, particularly with Andrea Raggi starting at right-back in an ostensibly defensive move. Ricardo Carvalho also comes in at centre-back, with Wallace benched. They’ve set up to counter-attack, with Anthony Martial’s pace preferred to Dimitar Berbatov’s slothlike skill up top. Midfield anchorman Jérémy Toulalan has presumably picked up a late injury, as he’s been left out completely.
Juventus starting lineup (4-3-1-2): Gianluigi Buffon; Patrice Evra, Giorgio Chiellini, Leonardo Bonucci, Stephan Lichsteiner; Arturo Vidal, Andrea Pirlo, Claudio Marchisio; Roberto Pereyra; Carlos Tevez, Álvaro Morata.
Monaco starting lineup (4-2-3-1): Danijel Subašić; Layvin Kurzawa, Aymen Abdennour, Ricardo Carvalho, Andrea Raggi; Geoffrey Kondogbia, Fabinho; Yannick Ferreira Carrasco, João Moutinho, Nabil Dirar; Anthony Martial.
