The Derby della Mandonnina is traditionally one of the most exciting and noteworthy derbies in Europe, pitting two of Italy's biggest teams against each other in a local rivalry with few equals anywhere on the continent. Sadly, with the recent decline of both clubs the matchup has lost some of its cachet and appeal, but that doesn't mean Inter Milan and AC Milan don't still fight tooth and nail to one-up each other.
Inter Milan vs. AC Milan 2015 live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch online
The Derby della Madonnina rides again as the two halves of Milan square off.

While this match won’t have the title race connotations it may have in years past, and probably won’t even allow either side to reach European competition for next season, it could go a long ways towards determining which side finished above the other in Serie A this season. Milan currently hold a one-point edge over Inter, and for a lot of fans of both teams, finishing above their bitter rivals would be a nice consolation prize to a bitterly disappointing season. One thing is for sure, though: neither team is going to be satisfied unless they’ve thoroughly beaten the other, and no lack of form matters in such a match.
Key player - Xherdan Shaqiri (Inter Milan)
If any one player has the skill and ability to change this match by himself, it’s Inter’s Swiss attacker. Shaqiri is in his first Milan Derby and has the raw talent to be the best player on the pitch by a long ways. He hasn’t always been at his best since joining Inter in January, but he has tended to show up in big matches, and the Derby certainly qualifies.
Key Matchup - Davide Santon (Inter Milan) vs. Jeremy Menez (AC Milan)
This will be Santon’s third Milan Derby, but his first since re-joining Inter this winter. His task will be to try and keep Menez locked down, taking the best attacker Milan have had this season out of the fight. It won’t be an easy duty as Menez has been in good form of late and Santon is coming off an injury, but if he can at least slow Menez down, it will do Inter a whole lot of good in their defensive efforts.
Inter Milan injuries and suspensions
Out: Fredy Guarin (suspended), Marcelo Brozovic (suspended), Huge Campagnaro (calf), Dodo (knee), Zdravko Kuzmanovic (muscular), Jonathan (knee) In doubt: Davide Santon (knee)
AC Milan injuries and suspensions
Out: Stephan El Shaarawy (foot), Riccardo Montolivo (muscular), Michael Agazzi (foot) In doubt: Mattia Destro (knee), Keisuke Honda (foot), Michael Essien (muscular), Cristian Zaccardo (back), Diego Lopez (finger)
Both of these teams are looking awfully thin right now thanks to injuries, with both sides suffering from serious and minor injuries from front to back. Most of Inter’s injuries are to depth players, but Milan could miss as many as six regular members of their rotation, including goalkeeper Diego Lopez, who suffered a finger injury in training this week.
