Bayern Munich vs. Borussia Dortmund live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch the DFB-Pokal online

Can Der BVB salvage their season with a win over Bayern and a trip to the DFB-Pokal final?

It’s been a disappointing season for Borussia Dortmund, who have already decided to change managers. Jürgen Klopp is departing, Thomas Tuchel is taking his place and they’re probably more focused on the summer’s transfer dealings than anything else. But their season isn’t over quite yet -- there’s still a trophy to be won for them, and Bayern Munich stands in their way.

For the third season running, Bayern have an excellent chance at winning a treble. It would be their second ever, which would also be just the second in German football history. They already have the league locked up, and they’re in the semifinals of both knockout competitions. Tuesday’s DFB-Pokal semi is the final Klassiker for Klopp, and his side will be motivated to salvage their year by getting a win over Bayern.

Since the announcement of Klopp’s resignation, BVB have turned a corner, winning their last two games in a row. They’re up to eighth in the Bundesliga, just three points out of Europa League places with four matches to go. Bayern, meanwhile, are doing what they always do. They’ve won four in a row, and got last week’s victory while resting some key players for this match.

Expect to see some big guns make their return from injury for this match. Marco Reus came off the bench at the weekend but should start, as should Ilkay Gundogan, who sat out due to illness. On the other end, Bayern are expected to welcome back Thiago Alcantara and Juan Bernat.

Bayern Munich injuries and suspensions

Out: Javi Martinez (knee), Holger Badstuber (thigh), David Alaba (knee), Franck Ribery (ankle/back). In doubt: Arjen Robben (abdominal), Rafinha (thigh), Mehdi Benatia (groin).

Borussia Dortmund injuries and suspensions

Out: Roman Weidenfeller (hip), Nuri Sahin (hip), Sebastian Kehl (rib). In doubt: Ilkay Gundogan (illness), Kevin Grosskreutz (hamstring), Oliver Kirch (knee), Adrian Ramos (knee), Lukasz Piszczek (ankle)

Of Bayern’s doubtful players, Rafinha has a chance to start, Arjen Robben could feature on the bench and Mehdi Benatia is the most unlikely of the group to see minutes. Injuries have hurt Dortmund even more than Bayern this season, and they’ll be missing a lot of their top players yet again.
