Arsenal vs. Sunderland 2015 live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch online

Both Arsenal and Sunderland have something at stake in their match on Wednesday.

Arsenal will wrap up third place by winning their Premier League game in hand against Sunderland on Wednesday, though realistically a draw will suffice with Arsène Wenger’s side boasting a goal difference comfortably superior to Manchester United’s after their draw on the weekend. A win would, however, keep their dream of clinching second place alive heading into the final round, with Manchester City provisionally five points clear of the Gunners.

However, Arsenal certainly shouldn’t be expecting an easy game against a Sunderland side that have had an odd habit of raising their game significantly against the best sides over the last couple of seasons. What’s more, Dick Advocaat’s side are unbeaten in their last four matches, and only need a draw to mathematically guarantee another season in the top flight.

Key player - Lee Cattermole (Sunderland)

The most consistent performer in a couple of difficult seasons for the Black Cats has been Lee Cattermole, with the former Middlesbrough man having done a great job in anchoring the midfield. He’ll have to do the same again in this match, against an Arsenal side famous for their intricate passing game in the opponent’s third of the pitch.

Key matchup - Alexis Sánchez vs. Anthony Réveillère

There's no doubting that Arsenal's star man is Chilean winger Alexis Sánchez, who offers a pace and directness in his play that none of his teammates can match. In this game, he'll be up against Sunderland's veteran full-back Anthony Réveillère, who will have to have a great match if he's to keep Sánchez quiet.

Arsenal injuries and suspensions

Out: Alex Oxlde-Chamberlain (groin), Danny Welbeck (knee), Mathieu Debuchy (hamstring). In doubt: Mikel Arteta, Abou Diaby (match fitness).

Sunderland injuries and suspensions

Out: Ricky Álvarez, Liam Bridcutt, Jordi Gómez, Wes Brown (knee). In doubt: Billy Jones (muscular injury).

Arsenal will still be without Alex Oxlde-Chamberlain, Danny Welbeck and Mathieu Debuchy, while Mikel Arteta and Abou Diaby aren’t yet up to match fitness after long-term layoffs. Sunderland, meanwhile have defender Wes Brown and midfield trio Ricky Álvarez, Liam Bridcutt and Jordi Gómez out, though Billy Jones could appear.
