Bayern Munich lost on a sick backheel goal

Augsburg have had a surprisingly excellent season, and could make Europe next season thanks to their big 1-0 upset win over Bayern Munich on Saturday. Raul Bobadilla was the man who scored this fantastic goal, his 10th of the season. And to add insult to injury for the Bavarians, the assist was provided by their wonderkid Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, who's playing for Augsburg on loan from Bayern. With all their injuries, they probably could have used Hojbjerg in recent weeks.

League losses won’t really bother Bayern much, as they’ve locked up the Bundesliga crown again, but this is yet another poor performance from them. They’ve now gone over five hours without scoring, a pretty rare drought for a team of their quality. They’ll need to get it together quickly and put together their best performance of the season at Camp Nou this week to have any chance of making the Champions League final.
