Brazil vs. Spain, 2015 World Cup: Start time, TV schedule and live stream

Brazil will look to build on their winning World Cup start by beating Spain on Saturday.

Eric Bolte-USA TODAY Sports

Women’s World Cup contenders Brazil take on Spain in their second group game on Saturday, looking to build upon the 2-0 win they recorded over South Korea in their first match. It was a solid if unspectacular start from Vadão’s side, who are looking to win this tournament for the first time. They finished runners-up back in 2007, and reached the quarterfinals of the last edition.

Spain, in contrast, are making their first appearance at this tournament, and would probably be happy just to escape the group stages. They certainly have talent in their team, but Ignacio Quereda’s side only managed a 1-1 draw with unfancied Costa Rica in their opener, and would do well to avoid defeat against one of the strongest teams in the tournament in Brazil.

If you're searching for a star player, look no further than Brazil's Marta. The 29-year-old is widely regarded as the best in the game, having swept up five FIFA World Player of the Year Awards. She broke the World Cup scoring record with a penalty in Brazil's 2-0 win over South Korea, with her 15th career goal in this tournament. Good luck stopping her, Spain.
