The Copa America is off to a blistering start with plenty of great action to enjoy, but neither of the teams in action in this match came away satisfied with how they performed in their opening matches. Now it’s time for both Chile and Mexico to step up and take control of their own destinies, and that has to start Monday.
Mexico vs. Chile live stream: How to watch Copa America online
Neither Chile or Mexico are happy with their Copa America openers, but each has a chance to get back on track Monday.

Chile beat Ecuador to win the tournament opener, but the hosts had to rely on a penalty and a very late goal to earn the win. They didn’t look particularly convincing against a team they should have throttled, and need to re-think some of their tactics and how they’re approaching their opponents if they want to retain their status as one of the favorites of this tournament.
Mexico were always going to be a long shot after they brought a B team to the Copa America, choosing to rest stars for the Gold Cup instead. But against Bolivia they looked terrible, getting outplayed by a team that was supposed to be the worst in the tournament. Even with low expectations for this side, Mexico are on course to fall far short of them. They need to step their game way up or some of these guys may never play for the national side again.
