Women's World Cup contenders Japan start their knockout stage campaign against the Netherlands on Tuesday, where they'll look to build upon the three wins they picked up in the groups. So far they have been good without being great, and the reigning champions may need to crank things up a gear as we head into the latter stages of the tournament.
Japan vs. Netherlands, 2015 World Cup: Start time, TV schedule and live stream
Japan should have too much for the Netherlands in their WWC round of 16 clash on Tuesday.

They should have enough to beat a Dutch side that was pretty inconsistent en route to third place in Group A. Their sole win was a narrow victory over New Zealand, as they were held to a draw by hosts Canada and defeated by China. They showed enough to suggest that they're not too far off being genuinely competitive against the world's best teams, but they're not yet quite at a level to seriously contend.
