Copa América hosts Chile will be looking to make it to the tournament's final for the first time since 1987 on Monday, as they take on Peru in the first of the two semis. They've looked as good as anyone throughout the football we've seen so far, even if they only scraped a 1-0 victory over Uruguay in the last round.

The Copa América hosts take on surprise semifinalists Peru on Monday.

Jorge Sampaoli will be forced into something of a defensive reshuffle for this match, with Gonzalo Jara having been handed a three-game ban for his 'altercation' (to put it as nicely as possible) with Edinson Cavani in the last round.
Peru will doubtless be looking at this as a potential weak point to exploit, as they're certain to be high on confidence after upsetting the odds to get so far in this competition. With the exception of a narrow opening game defeat to Brazil, Ricardo Gareca's side have been thoroughly impressive, and dispatched Bolivia 3-1 in the quarterfinal.
Chile should underestimate Peru -- and in particular striker Paolo Guerrero, who scored a hat-trick in the last match -- at their peril.
