On Sunday, one-time Women’s World Cup winners Norway kick off their bid to reclaim their trophy two decades after their inaugural success. Spearheaded by prolific 19-year-old Lyon forward Ada Hegerberg, who already has 15 goals in 33 international appearances, they’re gunning to erase the painful memories of the 2011 edition when they failed to reach the knockout stages for the first time ever.
Norway vs. Thailand, World Cup 2015: Time, TV schedule and how to watch online
Former Women’s World Cup winners Norway kick off their 2015 campaign against Thailand on Sunday.

They’re now back under the stewardship of the man that led them to the World Cup title in 1995, with Even Pellerud having returned to the post after a 16 year absence back in 2012.
He’ll no doubt be looking for his Norway side to kick off their tournament with a victory against a side that is making its World Cup debut in Canada. Though they’ve impressed domestically, Thailand have struggled against teams from stronger confederations, and they’re not expected to pull up any trees. It would be a big surprise if they were able to make it out of the group.
