Real Madrid vs. Shakhtar Donetsk 2015 live stream: How to watch 2015 Champions League online

Los Merengues will expect to get their Champions League underway with a win.

Real Madrid had a preseason that featured Cristiano Ronaldo yelling at Rafa Benítez, followed by a 0-0 draw in their opening game. But they’ve righted the ship quickly, recording back-to-back blowout, shutout wins in La Liga. It won’t be as easy in their Champions League opener against Shakhtar Donetsk, but they’ll still expect to record a comfortable victory.

After starting the season off cold, Ronaldo burst to life on Saturday, recording five goals and an assist against Espanyol. Gareth Bale looks like he’s gelling better with his teammates as well, while Isco and James Rodríguez appear to be interchangeable. Benítez hasn’t had to face any major personnel problems yet, and he’s hoping it stays that way.

There are no serious injury concerns for Real Madrid, but both James Rodríguez and Danilo are carrying knocks, and are not expected to start the game. The only player missing for Shakhtar Donetsk is forward Facundo Ferreyra.
