While Bayern Munich have been a Bundesliga-dominating machine in recent years, they’ve suddenly discovered a team they’re having a hard time beating: Wolfsburg. The team that exploded onto the scene last season announced their legitimacy by destroying Bayern when the Bundesliga came out from its winter break, then shocked Bayern again by winning the German Supercup on penalties.
Bayern Munich vs. Wolfsburg 2015 live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch online
Wolfsburg have made a habit out of upsetting Bayern lately. Can they do it again?

Now with a third team on the title chase scene again in the Bundesliga with the resurgence of Borussia Dortmund, Bayern need to maintain their perfect winning record in this match -- but they have to figure out how to beat Wolfsburg to do it. That’s easier said than done, especially with die Wölfe looking stronger than they were a year ago in spite of the loss of Kevin De Bruyne in the transfer market. They’ll have the Allianz Arena behind them, but that doesn’t mean Wolfsburg will do anything to make life easier for Bayern if they can help it.
Key player -- Julian Draxler (Wolfsburg)
Draxler hasn’t been a Wolfsburg player for long, only playing three matches for his new team so far. He scored the only goal of the match against CSKA Moscow in the Champions League and is looking solid in league play so far. But he’s going to have to turn it up a notch in order to help Wolfsburg down Bayern again, and it just doesn’t quite look like he’s that far along in his adjustment to being a Wolfsburg player quite yet. If he can take that next step, though, Bayern’s beat-up defense could be in trouble.
Key Matchup -- Douglas Costa (Bayern Munich) vs. Christian Träsch (Wolfsburg)
Costa has been eye-opening for Bayern this season with how dangerous he’s been. People thought he’d be a solid player for the German giants -- he’d always been very good for Shakhtar, after all -- but no one expected him to be this good, especially not right away. He’s consistently been one of Bayern’s biggest attacking threats, and with Vieirinha out injured, Träsch is going to have a heck of a time facing Costa down at right back. If he can’t keep Costa at bay, it’s going to make this match much, much harder for Wolfsburg to get something out of.

Wolfsburg injuries and suspensions
Out: Koen Casteels (toe), Vieirinha (thigh), Felipe Lopes (foot) In doubt: none
Bayern are still very battered, especially in defense. They’ve been dealing with the situation admirably so far -- though they haven’t played a team quite as good as Wolfsburg yet. That could make life rather difficult for this match, though Wolfsburg’s defense is plenty battered, as well. Their goalkeeper, who has started half their matches this season, is out, as well as two rotation defenders.
