Robert Lewandowski had a match to remember on Tuesday against Wolfsburg -- and he didn't even start the match. Coming on as a halftime sub, Lewandowski had one of the most ridiculous performances you'll ever see, scoring five goals in a matter of minutes to give Bayern a 5-1 win over their Bundesliga title race rivals.

But just how ridiculous was that performance? Let’s count the ways.
The hat trick was mind-bogglingly fast
The first three goals took Lewandowski just 3 minutes, 22 seconds to score. For reference, that’s the fastest Bundesliga hat trick ever, easily eclipsing the mark set by Michael Tönnies in 1991, who scored his in just shy of six minutes for Duisburg against Karlsruher -- interestingly, also in what ended as a five-goal performance. It was also comfortably faster than the Premier League record that stood until last season, when Robbie Fowler scored three goals in 4:32, though Sadio Mane’s 2:56 hat trick for Southampton in May will be hard to beat.
It was also Lewandowski’s second sub-four minute hat trick, beating that mark by one second while playing for Poland in Euro qualifying this past summer.

He was awfully efficient, too
