The Champions League’s second matchday kicks off on Tuesday, and there are plenty of games that shouldn’t be missed. Among the first of them are Barcelona’s clash against Bayer Leverkusen, with the Catalans having made a slightly shaky start to the new season. After their shock defeat to Dinamo Zagreb last time out, Arsenal’s second fixture is at home against Europe’s eternal banana skin, Olympiacos.

Elsewhere on Tuesday, Bayern Munich should make pretty light work of the aforementioned Zagreb, while Porto will look to upset Chelsea boss José Mourinho on his return to the Dragão. Also unpredictable is Lyon’s fixture at home to Valencia, with both clubs looking to prove they have what it takes to make a run into the latter stages of this competition.
On Wednesday, PSG and Real Madrid have what should be fairly routine fixtures, while Manchester United will look to make up for their defeat to PSV Eindhoven with a win at home to Wolfsburg. Benfica could pose a few problems for 2014 runners-up Atlético Madrid, while it’s anyone’s guess what will happen in Group D, where Manchester City take on Gladbach and Juve host Sevilla.
