AC Milan vs. Fiorentina 2016 live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to Serie A online

AC Milan boss Siniša Mihajlović is under big pressure heading into his side’s tough match with Fiorentina on Sunday.

AC Milan have won just one of their last five league matches, with pressure mounting on coach Siniša Mihajlović. If reports are to be believed, World Cup winning coach Marcello Lippi is being lined up as a replacement alongside current youth coach Cristian Brocchi, and a poor result against Fiorentina on Sunday could force the change. No pressure, then. The Rossoneri currently sit down in eighth place, 10 points adrift of the Champions League spots.

In contrast, their visitors, Fiorentina, are enjoying a very fruitful campaign. Coach Paulo Sousa is impressing in his first season in charge, and has led the Florentine outfit to within three points of league leaders Napoli as the second half of the season begins. It'll probably be too soon for the Viola to stand any serious chance of challenging for the league title, but they're certainly in the hunt for a Champions League return.

Key player: Josip Iličić (Fiorentina)

Before the start of the season, Josip Iličić's career as a player at one of Italy's top sides looked dead and buried. He'd failed to build on the promise he showed when he emerged alongside Javier Pastore at Palermo a few seasons ago, and rumors of a Fiorentina exit were rife. However, Sousa has managed to unlock his hidden potential, with the Slovenian now a vital component in the Tuscans' attacking unit. Whether it's playing the key pass of lashing home himself, he's once again a very tricky customer for opposing defences.

Recent history

Fiorentina have won their last two meetings against Milan, though haven’t won away against the Rossoneri since 2013. True to form, the Viola have generally had the match of the fallen giants over the last few years, having emphatically ended a run of seven straight defeats between 2008 and 2011.

AC Milan injuries and suspensions

Out: Jérémy Ménez, Diego López, Rodrigo Ely (injured). In doubt: None.

Fiorentina injuries and suspensions

Out: Milan Badelj (injured); Gonzalo Rodríguez (suspended). In doubt: None.

AC Milan will be without goalkeeper López, defender Ely and attacker Ménéz, though Mihajlović should still be able to field his full-strength team. The same can’t be said of Fiorentina, who will be missing suspended captain and defensive rock Gonzalo.
