Juventus vs. Roma 2016 live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch online

Juventus will look to make it 11 in a row when they host Roma on Sunday.

Juventus' 4-0 drubbing of Udinese last weekend meant that Massimiliano Allegri's side have now recorded 10 straight league victories. The defending Serie A champions have moved within a couple of points of league leaders Napoli, and could overhaul them if results go their way this weekend. However, Juve need to win a tough game at home to AS Roma if they're to hold up their end of the bargain, with the giallorossi likely to be on a high after the return of former coach Luciano Spalletti.

That said, Spalletti's grand return didn't go quite to plan, as Roma were held to a 1-1 draw by relegation certainties Hellas Verona. However, they're surely going to raise their game as they go up against the peninsula's top team. A win could move them level on points with fourth-placed Fiorentina, while stuttering Inter Milan are only a couple of points further ahead in the final Champions League spot. Should the squad adapt to Spalletti's style quickly, a strong finish is possible.

Key player: Paulo Dybala (Juventus)

Juve's young striker Paulo Dybala is proving why the Bianconeri were willing to shell out big money to sign him from Palermo in the summer. The Argentine trails only compatriot Gonzalo Higuaín in the Serie A scoring charts, and has shown a knack for creating as well as just finishing chances. He looks like a ready-made replacement for the departed Carlos Tevez, and he could wreak havoc among a shaky Roma defense in this match.

Recent history

Roma won when these sides met in the reverse fixture in August, though Juventus have generally had the better of these meetings over the last few years. The Turin outfit had won three of the four prior league clashes between these teams, and haven’t lost at home to Roma in almost exactly six years. The last time that happened was January 2010, when John Arne Riise netted a dramatic winner at the Stadio Olimpico in the 93rd minute.

Juventus injuries and suspensions

Out: Roberto Pereyra, Mario Lemina (injured). In doubt: None.

AS Roma injuries and suspensions

Out: Ezequiel Ponce, Abdullahi Nura (injured). In doubt: Elio Capradossi, Salih Uçan, Maicon, Gervinho.

Juve will be without the midfield duo of Pereyra and Lemina, but coach Allegri should otherwise have a full-strength team available. The same can’t be said for Roma, who have a rather longer injury list, but the good news is none of their key first-teamers are out.
