Juventus will look to continue their excellent run of form when they travel to face Chievo Verona at the Marc'Antonio Bentegodi in Serie A's early Sunday game. Massimiliano Allegri's outfit have recovered from their poor start to the season and are now on a brilliant run of 11 straight league victories, and it'd be a surprise if they didn't keep the pressure on league leaders Napoli by adding another here.

Chievo will be hoping to end Juventus’ run of 11 straight Serie A victories when they face off at the Bentegodi Sunday.

Chievo certainly made a surprisingly good start to the season, though in sharp contrast to Juve's fortunes, theirs have dipped in recent weeks. They've only won once in their last five matches and were tonked 4-1 by a very mediocre Lazio side in their last outing. The Bentegodi is a notoriously difficult place for opposing teams to go, but Juve have every reason to be confident of their chances.
Key player: Paulo Dybala (Juventus)
A few were sceptical when Juve signed Paulo Dybala in the summer, with reasonable concerns floated about whether he’d get sufficient game time to continue his development. However, the young striker has grabbed his chance by the scruff of the neck, and he is the division’s second-top scorer with 12 goals to his name. Not only is he prolific in front of goal, but he’s also good at fashioning chances for others: he’s created almost twice as many assists as any of his teammates.
Recent history
These sides drew 1-1 when they met at the start of the season, but otherwise Juve have invariably beaten Chievo over the last few years. Prior to the 1-1 in September, the Bianconeri had recorded six straight wins over the Flying Donkeys. Chievo haven't beaten Juve since 2010, when veteran defender Gennaro Sardo -- still on the Gialloblù's books today -- scored an unlikely winner. He's found the back of the net only five times since.
Chievo Verona injuries and suspensions
Out: Mariano Izco, Riccardo Meggiorini, Alessandro Gamberini (injured); Boštjan Cesar (suspended). In doubt: Perparim Hetemaj.
Juventus injuries and suspensions
Out: Mario Mandžukić, Kwadwo Asamoah (injured); Patrice Evra (suspended). In doubt: Mario Lemina, Rubino.
Chievo have several significant injuries, including striker Meggiorini and centre-half Gamberini; veteran defender Cesar will also be in the stands with a suspension. Midfielder Hetemaj faces a late fitness test.
Juve, meanwhile, will have to do without the suspended Evra, as well as dealing with a couple of certain injury absentees. The most important is striker Mandžukić, who left training early in midweek with a muscular problem.
