AC Milan vs. Inter Milan 2016 live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch Milan Derby online

The biggest rivalry in Italy heats up again as AC Milan and Inter Milan face off.

The Derby della Madonnina is one of the most passionate and fierce rivalries in Europe, and it sets the bar for derbies in Italy. AC Milan and Inter Milan have been bitter enemies since seemingly the dawn of time, and their games are often heated, must-watch affairs.

While in recent years the decline of the two teams had lessened the importance of the Derby a little bit, that never changed the tone of it once. Now, with Inter trying to get back into the title race and Milan flirting with respectability again, this match is laced with meaning once more.

AC Milan have won the Derby just once since a three-win streak was snapped in 2012. Since then, Inter had a three win streak of their own, and the pair have traded draws three times as well. Their match earlier this season ended in Inter’s favor after a 58th minute Fredy Guarin goal -- though of course, Guarin is no longer around to play hero, as he’s recently been sold to a club in China.

Who will emerge heroic from this match? Only playing the 90 minutes at the San Siro will reveal that for a certainty, while we all watch with bated breath.

Key AC Milan player -- Carlos Bacca

Bacca has been the one consistent scoring threat that Milan has had this season, wreaking havoc in front of goal en route to 10 goals in 21 matches so far. With Inter’s defense fairly strong this season, Milan will be relying on Bacca’s ability to get goals out of almost nowhere to help them get one over on their arch-rivals. Can he beat Joao Miranda and Jeison Murillo? Maybe, maybe not. But you can guarantee that he’ll work his butt off to try, and he might just score a spectacular goal or three in the process.

Key Inter Milan player -- Marcelo Brozovic

With Fredy Guarin gone, the only midfielder Inter have left with a shred of creativity is Brozovic. Fortunately, he’s actually been their best midfielder in advanced areas this season, albeit sometimes an under-appreciated player for those skills. Mauro Icardi and Adem Ljajic and perhaps even Inter’s new striker Eder will need excellent service to score goals for Inter in this match -- and if Milan give Brozovic even an inch of space, he’ll give it to them.
