Lionel Messi marks Pep Guardiola’s visit to Camp Nou with a hat trick

In a few years, this game might just be a footnote in the story of how Pep Guardiola transformed Manchester City into the greatest team in the world. But right now, they are not that. They are a bunch of traffic cones for Lionel Messi to dodge. He scored a hat trick on his return from injury against City on Wednesday, all from close range and all off bad turnovers.

Messi has 12 goals in 10 appearances so far this season, in case you thought he’d be slowing down anytime soon. And with the MSN forward line intact, Barcelona is looking unstoppable.
