The United States men's national team starts the final round of World Cup qualifying next month, so Jurgen Klinsmann is taking an opportunity to look at some fringe players to see if they have what it takes to help the team in the Hex. They play the first of two October friendlies on Friday, against Cuba.
USA vs. Cuba 2016 live stream: How to watch the USMNT online
The USMNT is taking a look at some fresh faces against Cuba.

This is the first time that the USMNT has played in Cuba since diplomatic relations were re-established. In 2008, with the Cuban embargo still in effect, the USMNT had to travel to Havana for a World Cup qualifier, and the two teams have played several times on American soil.
All of the Americans’ veteran goalkeepers have been left home, with David Bingham, Ethan Horvath, and William Yarbrough competing for playing time -- and perhaps for the No. 2 spot behind Brad Guzan going forward. Uncapped Sunderland youngster Lynden Gooch is also in the team, while Julian Green, Jordan Morris, Paul Arriola, Omar Gonzalez, and Danny Williams have earned recalls after being left off of multiple squads in the last couple of years.
