Arsenal dug themselves a massive two-goal hole away to Ludogorets, then spent the entirety of the match trying to dig their way out of it. They looked like they were on their way to dropping points until the 87th minute, when Mesut Özil came up with this incredible individual effort.
PSG, Arsenal trade late winners to stay tied in their Champions League group
Mesut Özil appeared to open up a gap between Arsenal and PSG, but Thomas Meunier had an answer.

At the same time as this was happening, Paris Saint-Germain were looking like they were about to drop points after conceding a second-half equalizer to FC Basel. With Arsenal and PSG tied on points entering the day, it would have been a massive blow towards the Parisians’ hopes of winning Group A in the Champions League, especially given that Arsenal got a 1-1 draw away in Paris.
Then, in stoppage time, Thomas Meunier did this.

Was that on purpose? Probably not, if we’re being honest, but it was still the best goal scored all day. More importantly, it keeps PSG in a good position to challenge Arsenal for top spot in the group. One of them is going to have to finish second, and inevitably face one of the world’s best teams in the Round of 16.
