Edin Dzeko doesn’t get why he was red carded for pulling a guy’s pants down and starting a fight

Seems obvious, yeah?

Edin Dzeko is going to miss out on at least one game for Bosnia and Herzegovina after picking up a red card in World Cup qualifying on Sunday. After being fouled by Sokratis Papastathopoulos, Dzeko grabbed the Greek defender’s leg, then pulled down his shorts, then shoved him to the ground. Unsurprisingly, a fight ensued and Dzeko was sent off for his actions.

“I do not understand the reason for my expulsion,” a perplexed Dzeko said after the game. “I cannot explain why the referee has sent me off. They said I started the fight myself, but how could I do that if I was the only one to have fallen to the ground?”

Well, this isn’t that tough to sort out. Watch for yourself.
