Real Madrid vs. Atlético Madrid 2016 live stream: Time, TV schedule, and 3 things to know for Madrid Derby

La Liga leaders Real Madrid will look to extend their advantage with a win away at cross-town rival Atléti on Saturday.

Real Madrid remain the only unbeaten team in La Liga, with Zinedine Zidane's side having opened up a two-point gap over Barcelona at the top of the table. They'll look to win their fifth straight league match on Saturday, though that's a task easier said than done, with cross-town rival Atiético Madrid proven to be stern opponents in the raucous atmosphere of the Vicente Calderón.

However, Atléti head into the game with their confidence having been dented by two defeats in their last three league matches. Victory over Málaga was sandwiched between defeats to Sevilla and Real Sociedad, with Diego Simeone's side having fallen six points adrift of the table toppers. That said, Atléti should need no extra motivation to get one over on Real, and this should prove a fascinating contest.

Three big things to know

1. Atléti are waiting nervously on the fitness of star striker Antoine Griezmann, who returned from international duty with France carrying a minor injury. However, he is expected to start. The same can't be said for midfielder Augusto Fernández, who is sidelined for the foreseeable future with a serious knee injury.

2. Real Madrid will be without a chunk of their first-team: Casemiro, Álvaro Morata and Toni Kroos are all definitely sidelined. Karim Benzema and Pepe face late fitness tests.

3. This will be the first meeting between these sides since last season's Champions League Final, which Real Madrid eventually won on penalties in Milan. Atléti are sure to be licking their wounds -- especially veteran defender Juanfran -- who missed the decisive spot-kick. He'll be the man tasked with stopping Cristiano Ronaldo on Saturday.
