Lionel Messi threw a tantrum after a Manchester City player yelled an insult at him, then ran away

Barcelona got surprisingly taken apart by Manchester City on Tuesday, with Pep Guardiola’s new team coming from behind to post a 3-1 victory. Apparently, a City player decided to provoke Lionel Messi after the match, then run away and hide. Messi, thoroughly annoyed, reportedly yelled “stupid, come here and show your face, don’t hide.” He then waited outside City’s dressing room until Sergio Aguero came out to tell him to chill.

“From what I know, nothing serious happened,” said Aguero. “I heard Leo say something but then he told me that nothing had happened.”

Whoever yelled an insult at Messi is definitely a total coward, but also, very funny. This is the type of person we need involved in soccer even if we know deep down that they’re an extremely wack person.
