Monday marks one of the few great days on the global soccer calendar during which no soccer is actually played. The stage will be set for three constant months of anticipation when the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 draw is made, setting up each of the remaining teams with their first knockout stage opponent.
UEFA Champions League draw 2016: Time, live TV schedule for Round of 16 draw
Watch as your favorite team learns their fate in the Champions League draw.

Some of the teams you’d expect to win their group have done so — Barcelona, Atlético Madrid and Juventus will be seeded for Monday’s draw. But the unseeded pot includes some of Europe’s biggest teams too. Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, and Manchester City were all semifinalists last season, and all of them failed to win their group.
This could set up some incredible Round of 16 ties. Imagine seeing Bayern take on a team like Barcelona or Atléti this early in the tournament. The draw could also give an underdog a chance to make a deep run -- Leicester City is a top seed, and would love to be given a great chance to make the quarterfinals with a tie against Benfica or Sevilla.
Here’s how to catch the draw, wherever you are.
