Henrikh Mkhitaryan scores outrageous scorpion kick goal for Manchester United

Goal of the season?

Manchester United has finally hit their stride this season, thanks in big part to Henrikh Mkhitaryan finally breaking into the team. He’s had some excellent goals since he worked his way back into José Mourinho’s good graces, but this scorpion kick volley against Sunderland is his best one yet.

This is sure to be on the shortlist for goal of the season come May ... even if it was a mile offside. We can hardly blame the referee’s assistant for being so mesmerized by what he was watching that he forgot to raise his flag. Finishes don’t get any better than this.
