Can León pull off another stunning upset? They’re in a hole against Tigres.

Tigres entered Liguilla as the No. 3 seed and performed well in the quarterfinals, beating Pumas 7-2 on aggregate.
Superstar striker Andre-Pierre Gignac hasn’t been at his best for Tigres for most of this season, but he’s sprung to life in Liguilla. And he’s the man who gave Tigres their lead in this series, finishing off a pass from Ismael Sosa in León.
León has some great forwards of their own, and they’ll be depending on those players to fire them back into this tie. Mauro Boselli was tied for third-leading scorer in Liga MX this season with 10 goals, while his partner German Cano contributed five goals and four assists, with the latter being joint-seventh on the league leaderboard.
