The United States men’s national team is in a familiar, but uncomfortable spot. If they don’t beat Guatemala on Tuesday, they’re almost certainly going to miss out on the 2018 World Cup.

On Friday, the U.S. lost in Guatemala City, turning in an embarrassing performance. Their 2-0 loss was their first to Guatemala in World Cup qualifying ever, and their first in any competition in nearly 30 years. They now have just four points from three games, while Guatemala has six and Trinidad and Tobago has seven. A win puts the U.S. in the drivers’ seat for qualification, a draw leaves them with a ton of work to do and a loss makes it nearly impossible.

All of Matt Besler, John Brooks and Fabian Johnson — three of the USMNT's top players — have left camp with injuries. Christian Pulisic, an uncapped 17-year-old wunderkind, has joined and might make his first appearance for the United States on Tuesday. Guatemala star Carlos Ruiz was in danger of missing this game because of visa problems, but was able to travel with the team and will play.

How to watch online: For American viewers, you have a couple of options. If you want to watch in English and have ESPN2 as part of your TV package, you can watch the game for free on Watch ESPN. If you don’t have that or just prefer to watch in Spanish, the game is also on Univision Deportes en vivo. For those without TV packages, you can also find the game on services like Fubo and Sling.

Match Date/Time: Tuesday, 7 p.m. ET

Venue: Mapfre Stadium, Columbus, Ohio
