The USMNT wasn’t expected to make the Olympics after losing their qualifying match against Honduras last fall, but they’re in good position in their intercontinental playoff on Friday. They drew 1-1 in Colombia, meaning they’ll progress to Rio with a win by any margin. They’ll also go through if they draw 0-0, and go to extra time if Tuesday’s game ends 0-0.
Senior United States squad regular Jordan Morris is in this team, along with top prospects like Matt Miazga and Emerson Hyndman. Colombia's squad is mostly made up of domestic-based players, with Rennes' Juan Fernando Quintero the most recognizable name.
