Inter Milan vs. Napoli 2016 live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch online

Napoli need a win over Inter Milan on Saturday if their Champions League dream is to stay alive.

Napoli will look to keep their faint hopes of winning their first Serie A title since 1990 alive with a win away at Inter Milan on Saturday. The Neapolitan outfit suffered a catastrophic defeat at the hands of Udinese a fortnight ago, allowing league leaders Juventus to move six points clear of Maurizio Sarri's second-placed side in the table. Anything other than a win away at the San Siro would surely hand a fourth straight scudetto to Juve.

Inter Milan may have faded as the season has progressed, but they’ve certainly got the talent to make life difficult for Napoli. Roberto Mancini’s side look likely to miss out on Champions League qualification once again this season, but they still find themselves up in a solid fourth place. They’ve won four of their last five league games in front of their own fans, and should certainly be up for the fight.

Key question: How will Napoli cope without Gonzalo Higuaín?

Napoli's task has been made all the more difficult with the suspension of striker Gonzalo Higuaín. The Argentine has been in prolific form this season, and has over twice as many goals as the second-top scorer in Serie A. He's been in truly remarkable form. However, the red card he picked up in the recent defeat to Udinese means he's sidelined for the next three games -- suffice to say, a big blow. How they cope in his absence could well determine whether Napoli get the win they badly need here.

Recent history

Inter won 2-0 when these sides met at the Stadio San Paolo in Naples in January’s Coppa Italia clash, in what was their first win over the Neapolitans since 2012. They’ll take heart from the fact that Napoli have tended to struggle on their trips to the San Paolo, and haven’t won away against Inter since 2011. That day, a certain Claudio Ranieri was in charge of the Nerazzurri. We wonder where he’s gone since ...

Inter Milan injuries and suspensions

Out: None. In doubt: None.

Napoli injuries and suspensions

Out: Gonzalo Higuaín (suspended). In doubt: None.

Inter coach Mancini will have a full-strength squad to choose from. The same can't be said for Napoli coach Sarri, who will have to find an alternative to suspended star striker Higuaín. Manolo Gabbiadini will likely come into the attack in his place.
