Leicester City vs. Swansea City 2016 live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch EPL online

The Foxes stumbled at midweek, but a win at home would do a world of good for their title hopes.

The English Premier League title race is going down to the wire, and Leicester City are feeling the pressure. Failing to win at midweek allowed Tottenham Hotspur to close the gap, and another loss would be nearly disastrous for the Foxes now. That pressure could break Leicester -- or it could focus them into the kind of high-flying play they need to complete their miracle season.

Swansea City won’t exactly want to just let Leicester have their way, though. The Swans have been on a decent run of late -- three wins in their last six matches is about as good as they’ve enjoyed for much of the campaign -- and they have to be stinging about a team who got promoted years after they did finding such success already. Anything they can do to cause an upset would be a huge boost to their morale and confidence -- and bloodying the nose of a team that’s becoming a rival is never a bad thing.

What’s at stake

Leicester took a blow at midweek when they could only manage a draw against West Ham, but a win now would put them in a commanding position in the title race again. Three points would give them 76, a five-point edge on Tottenham Hotspur even if they too win. With just three matches to go, that’s a nearly insurmountable lead -- not completely, but it will be tough for Spurs to overcome that with so little time left.

A loss, however, completely changes the game. Their lead could drop to as little as two points, which means anything could happen in the title race. That would be a bitter blow to a team that’s been on a dream run all season -- but sometimes dreams just can’t become reality.

At the same time, a win for Swansea would all but assure them survival from relegation. It would take a disaster for them to go down now as it is, but three more points would make it all but mathematically impossible. This hasn’t been the most enjoyable of seasons for Swansea fans -- they’ve fallen short of expectations and spent most of the year struggling, but assuring that they get another swing at the Premier League next season is a good start to hopes of future success.
