The only slightly eye-raising selections have unsurprisingly been Bayern's, with David Alaba preferred to Medhi Benatia at center back, and Thomas Müller dropping to the bench. Instead, Kingsley Coman and Douglas Costa flank center forward Robert Lewandowski.
Atléti coach Diego Simeone starts with Fernando Torres and Antoine Griezmann in attack, while Koke is out wide. Gabi and Augusto Fernández make up their central midfield pairing, with Saúl out on the other flank. Filipe Luis and Juanfran flank center-halves Stefan Savić and José Giménez, with Diego Godín unavailable.
