Lionel Messi is largely believed to be the greatest soccer player in the world and Neymar is his heir apparent, but it's possible that Luis Suarez has been the best attacking player in the world this season. He's scored Barcelona's biggest goals, including a pair of them to bring his team from down a goal to 2-1 up on Atlético Madrid in their Champions League quarterfinal.

This is a mishit shot by Jordi Alba and not a pass, but Suarez does very well to react quickly and redirect the ball past Jan Oblak. Still, he's very lucky it falls to him. There's no luck in the second -- it's just a wonderful goal.

Dani Alves has been working his tail off all game for Barcelona and got a deserved assist here with a very good cross. But Suarez's vision, run and header were even better. He's up to 45 goals in 44 games, and these might be his two biggest of the year.
