Paris Saint-Germain vs. Manchester City: Lineups

The teams are out for the first leg of PSG’s Champions League quarterfinal against Manchester City.

Paris Saint-Germain coach Laurent Blanc has sprung a couple of surprises as his side prepare to face Manchester City in the opening leg of their Champions League quarterfinal on Wednesday. Ivorian right-back Serge Aurier makes his first appearance since being suspended in February for making derogatory comments about the Parisian side's manager, while Edinson Cavani is preferred to Lucas Moura in attack.

There are no such surprises in the City lineup, which is almost entirely as expected. Bacary Sagna is preferred to Pablo Zabaleta on the right side of defence, while Fabian Delph has recovered from his recent injury sufficiently to make the bench. Kevin De Bruyne features as their central playmaker in his first Champions League appearance since December.

Paris Saint-Germain starting lineup (4-3-3): Kevin Trapp; Maxwell, David Luiz, Thiago Silva, Serge Aurier; Blaise Matuidi, Thiago Motta, Adrien Rabiot; Edinson Cavani, Zlatan Ibrahimović, Ángel Di María.

Manchester City starting lineup (4-2-3-1): Joe Hart; Gaël Clichy, Eliaquim Mangala, Nicolás Otamendi, Bacary Sagna; Fernandinho, Fernando; David Silva, Kevin De Bruyne, Jesús Navas; Sergio Agüero.
