While rumors fly about what players Premier League teams might finally sign in August, Bayern Munich are getting their marquee signings across the line in May with typical German efficiency. They’ve signed Benfica’s wonderkid midfielder Renato Sanches, who was getting looked at by every big team in Europe. Also joining Bayern is defender Mats Hummels, who comes over from rivals Borussia Dortmund.

Manchester United, meanwhile, will still be bidding for Bayern stars on deadline day.
