Marcus Rashford just started playing first-team games for Manchester United this spring. He only has 18 appearances to his name, and has the fewest minutes played of any England debutante ever, but less than three minutes into his first game in a Three Lions shirt, he scored this excellent goal.

18-year-olds aren’t supposed to have that kind of composure on their international debut.
Rashford was never expected to make the England team for Euro 2016, and was assumed to be in this team just to get some good experience, and a taste of the international setup. But between Daniel Sturridge picking up another injury, Wayne Rooney struggling with form and this finish, who’s to say Roy Hogdson shouldn’t bring him to France? Rashford’s rapid rise has been stunning, and people keep waiting for him to come back to earth, but he hasn’t given anyone reason to doubt his ability yet.
