Gyasi Zardes scores his 2nd goal to put USMNT up 3-0

Full credit to Bobby Wood for that assist, though.

Trevor Ruszkowski-USA TODAY Sports

The United States came out of halftime against Bolivia looking unlikely to lose with a 2-0 lead. However, they weren't satisfied by that, as evidenced by Gyasi Zardes scoring his second goal of the match early in the half.

That's a nice bit of awareness from Zardes to reach back and poke the ball in. That work by Bobby Wood to get to that ball over the top from Michael Bradley -- bringing it down off his chest and racing down to the line to get past the defender and pull the ball back -- was special. That was an excellent piece of play from the young forward, and hopefully we see a lot more of that from Wood in the Copa America.
