An old British rivalry will be reignited in Lens on Thursday, with England taking on Wales in the second slate of Group B matches. Wales head in as group leaders, having scraped a late victory over Slovakia courtesy of goals from Gareth Bale and Hal Robson-Kanu. It wasn't a perfect performance from Chris Coleman's side, though he certainly won't mind too much: Wales now have a great chance of making the knockout stages in their first major tournament since 1958.

As for England, they played surprisingly well in their tournament opener against Russia, though the superb Eric Dier free kick that opened the scoring was cruelly cancelled out in stoppage time. It left the Three Lions a little shaky heading into this encounter, with memories of their group stage exit at the World Cup in Brazil two years ago threatening to once again become the reality. The question now is whether Roy Hodgson's men will be able to convert their promise into results.
England have won five straight games against Wales without having conceded a single goal -- a run that stretches all the way back to 2004. However, this Wales team is arguably the best they’ve had in the entire intervening period, and with the pressure piled on England, this is far from a foregone conclusion.
