Real Madrid midfielder Isco is the third Spanish international to be implicated by a protected witness in the ‘Torbe’ sexual assault case, according to testimony released on the Spanish TV show Ana Rosa on Telecinco. Manchester United’s David de Gea and Athletic Bilbao’s Iker Muniain had previously been named. Catalan newspaper Sport have a full English transcription of the witness being questioned.

De Gea, who denies the accusations, is currently out on international duty at the European Championships in France, though both Muniain and Isco failed to make Vicente del Bosque’s squad. The three players previously played alongside each other with the Spanish U-21 team, during which period, in 2012, the rape allegedly took place.
