Much of Euro 2016 has been spent setting up this match, with Wales and Belgium running headlong towards each other all through June. Two of the best attacking sides in the tournament, their flair will be a welcome respite from the dull affairs that most of the knockout-round matches have been, and the lineups named only add to the excitement.
Belgium vs. Wales lineups
Belgium and Wales go head to head in the Euro 2016 quarterfinals in a match that promises fun.

Gareth Bale is obviously leading the way for Wales, but the midfield trio behind him and the wingbacks will be making plenty of noise themselves on the counter attack. Wales are set up a bit more defensively than normal, but don’t call it an outright conservative formation -- with the players they have on the pitch, they still have significant threat going forward.
Belgium are bringing their usual high-powered attack, with a little extra pep in the form of Thomas Meunier and Jordan Lukaku rampaging up from the back line as their two fullbacks. They’ve got steel in midfield in the form of Axel Witsel and Radja Nainggolan, but their focus is going to be on attacking with their flock of high-impact players in the final third, headlined by Eden Hazard. There’s nothing conservative or defensive at all about this lineup, and Belgium have one goal in mind: score a few goals, then score some more.
