Having already administered a brutal 4-1 demolition of Manchester United in their International Champions Cup campaign, Thomas Tuchel's Borussia Dortmund are sure to head into their encounter against United's cross-town rivals on Thursday in high spirits. The German outfit have already now played a whopping five preseason friendlies, and seem to be quickly getting up to sprint speed. Rather ominously, that's even without star summer signings Mario Götze and André Schürrle.

Manchester City, meanwhile, have only played one friendly, going down 1-0 to Dortmund's domestic rivals Bayern Munich. Pep Guardiola's side were due to take on United in Beijing on Monday, only for the game to be cancelled amid fears over the state of the pitch. But while they may lack Dortmund's fitness, they've still got quality: Sergio Agüero, David Silva and summer signing Nolito are among those to have made the trip to China, and they should be competitive there.
