Real Madrid vs. Chelsea 2016: Time, TV schedule and news for International Champions Cup

Real Madrid will look to bounce back from a defeat to PSG by beating Chelsea in Michigan on Saturday.

Real Madrid and Chelsea face off in Ann Arbor on Saturday, as part of the second round of International Champions Cup matches. It's Chelsea who head in as favorites: they've already completed three preseason friendlies and saw off Liverpool in their ICC opener in California on Wednesday. In contrast, Madrid only started their preseason matches earlier in the week, when they were defeated 3-1 by Unai Emery's PSG.

Fun Real Madrid fringe player to watch: Martin Ødegaard

Real Madrid's capture of Martin Ødegaard from Norwegian outfit Strømsgodset in Jan. 2015 hit the headlines, largely because the player was still only 16 years old. Courted by many of Europe's top clubs, Ødegaard opted to move to Madrid, where his development has continued with game time in their Castilla squad. However, Zinedine Zidane has opted to bring the teenager Stateside on this preseason tour, and he could well feature on Saturday.

Fun Chelsea fringe player to watch: Michy Batshuayi

Truth be told, we don't actually yet know if Michy Batshuayi is a fringe player, with the 22-year-old Belgian having only joined from Marseille earlier in the summer. However, he'll have to do battle with Diego Costa and -- if the transfer rumors are to be believed, another striker -- if he's to force his way into Chelsea's starting lineup. He'll surely be working hard in preseason to try and make it happen.

Compared to other friendlies, is this worth my time?

Chelsea's superior fitness could mean this is a rather one-sided affair, especially with Real Madrid lacking the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Toni Kroos and Sergio Ramos. But then again, with Chelsea still getting used to the methods of new coach Antonio Conte, it could still be worth watching. 6/10.

Match date/time: Saturday, 3 p.m. ET

Venue: Michigan Stadium, Ann Arbor, Mich.

TV: ESPN (US - English); ESPN Deportes (US - Spanish); TSN5 (Canada); Chelsea TV (UK)

Online: WatchESPN (U.S.); TSN live streaming (Canada)
