Jurgen Klinsmann confirmed as one of the top candidates for the England job
American fans’ wildest dreams might come true.

England are in the process of finding a new manager, and yes, Jurgen Klinsmann is a real candidate. They’re not just internet rumors or columnist suggestions anymore. The Telegraph is reporting that Klinsmann is on the FA’s list of top candidates to vet and interview.
Klinsmann is joined on the list by Claudio Ranieri, Slaven Bilic and Arsene Wenger, who almost certainly have better things to do than deal with the hot mess that is the England job. Sam Allardyce and Eddie Howe might be interested, but they might feel like sticking with their stable jobs, too. Laurent Blanc, however, would probably find the job quite tempting, and might be considered a more qualified candidate than Klinsmann.
And then there’s Glenn Hoddle. He hasn’t managed a professional team in 10 years, but he’s well-regarded due to his academy in Spain, and he’d probably be willing to take temporary charge in case one of the FA’s preferred candidates doesn’t want to take over until next summer.
But forget about all that. Jurgen Klinsmann! They should hire Jurgen Klinsmann.
Please?
