Before this year's edition kicked off, Wales had never before played a match at the European Championships. They now stand on the brink of the final. Chris Coleman's side have upset the odds to reach the semis of their first major tournament since 1958 and are a tantalizing 90 minutes away from a chance to lift the prestigious silverware. However, if they're to progress any further, they're going to have to pull off another giant killing -- this time, against Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal.

While Portugal are certainly the favorites, it’s far from a foregone conclusion. They’ve not looked cohesive as a team, scraping past Croatia late in extra time before relying on penalties to beat Poland in the last round. Add to that the fact that Ronaldo hasn’t been firing on all cylinders, and Wales will start to think they’ve got a very good chance indeed. Unfortunately, though star man Gareth Bale is available, coach Coleman will have to do without playmaker Aaron Ramsey, who has been ruled out through suspension.
